  • ½ (16 ounce) package cornbread stuffing mix
  • 1 (16 ounce) jar unsweetened applesauce
  • ½ teaspoon dried marjoram

  • ⅓ cup boiling water

Cooking Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C). Grease a casserole dish.

  3. Combine sauteed onion mixture, cornbread stuffing, applesauce, marjoram, thyme, and lemon pepper in a large bowl. Pour in boiling water and mix to combine. Transfer to the prepared casserole dish.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven until stuffing is lightly browned on top, about 30 minutes.
If you're not vegetarian, add 1 lb sausage to the onion and celery in the skillet and cook before mixing with the rest of the ingredients.
