Side Dish Recipe ★ Turkish Marinade

A marinade that can be made with either plain yogurt or milk is nicely flavored with lemon and onion. This recipe is for only one steak.

Ingredients

  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • ½ lemon, juiced
  • ¼ teaspoon tomato paste
  • ½ medium onion, grated, juice reserved
  • ½ cup milk

Cooking Directions

  1. In a medium bowl, mix together the olive oil, lemon juice, tomato paste, and juice from the onion. Place meat into the bowl, cover, and marinate for at least 6 hours, but 24 hours is better.
